News ASCO Training Center will host five new training sessions 07.10.2022 15:01 Another audit held at the Training and Education Center of "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping" CJSC (ASCO) conducted by the American Bureau of Shipping, one of the prestigious classification societies has been completed. The annual audit lasted two days and was conducted by Ryan Salamati, a representative of the Baku office of the American Bureau of Shipping. According to the results of the audit, five more new trainings were approved to be conducted at the training center. The bureau authorized the following trainings “Instructor in Safety familiarization, basic training, and instruction for all seafarers”, “Instructor in International Safety Management Code”, “Instructor in International Ship Port Security Facility Code”, “Instructor in Proficiency in survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats” as well as special-purpose training - Operational use of Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (NavMaster). It should be noted that the ASCO Training Center provides trainings for seafarer’s certification, their practical training and assessment services. The center is equipped with modern classrooms, the latest models of simulators, a swimming pool and marine equipment.
