More than 130,000 cubic metres of dredging carried out by ASCO vessels last year
In 2025, more than 130,000 cubic metres of dredging works were carried out in relevant water areas by ASCO’s dredgers, ASCO, a company under AZCON Holding.
As part of the works, the dredger "Muhendis Balarza Memmedov" performed dredging operations in the water area of the Baku Shipyard (80,000 cubic metres), in Baku Bay — within the water area of the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet (20,000 cubic metres), and in the water area of the Transport Fleet (15,000 cubic metres).
At the same time, ASCO’s suction dredger "Narva" carried out the removal of 22,000 cubic metres of sediment in the water area of the Transport Fleet.
It should be noted that such works are regularly carried out in the water areas of ports and repair bases to ensure unobstructed berthing of vessels, as well as safe navigation.
