A convoy of legendary Czech and Japanese cars delivered to Kazakhstan aboard the “Azerbaijan” ferry

As part of the international expedition “Robot Expedition Praha–Osaka Expo 2025,” a convoy of classic cars has been transported to Kazakhstan’s Port of Kuryk aboard the Ro-Pax type ferry “Azerbaijan,” operated by ASCO, one of the companies under AZCON Holding.

During the journey, along with the legendary models “Tatra 603,” “Škoda Octavia,” “Škoda 100,” and “Škoda 120,” a Japanese-made “Toyota Celica ST” vehicle was also shipped. In addition to the vehicles themselves, the drivers and technical team accompanying them were transported by the ferry.

The “Robot Expedition Praha–Osaka Expo 2025” project spans a global route of 18,000 kilometers, starting in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and extending to Osaka, Japan. Throughout the expedition, the classic cars pass through numerous countries before being showcased at the “EXPO 2025” exhibition in Japan.

The main objective of the project is not only to demonstrate the durability and technical excellence of classic cars but also to build a cultural bridge between nations, promoting mutual understanding and international cooperation.
