A tree planting campaign was held on the occasion of Youth Day
Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) organized a tree planting campaign on the occasion of Youth Day, which is celebrated in Azerbaijan on February 2.
Before the tree-planting action, the youth visited a monument, build up on the territory of the yard in memory of those sons, who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The action was initiated by the HR department of ASCO at the “Bibiheybat” ship repair yard. As part of the environmental campaign, 100 trees were planted on the territory of the yard.
Employees of various structures of ASCO, as well as students of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy and the Azerbaijan Maritime College, took part in the tree planting campaign.
The event was organized in accordance with the requirements of the quarantine regime established by the Operational Headquarters under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.
The main goal of the campaign is to form an ecological culture among youth, instill the ideas of environmental protection and call on the younger generation to work together in the fight against environmental problems.
