The crane vessel "Atlet-24" was overhauled

The overhaul works of the crane vessel "Atlet-24" owned by Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” (ASCO) have been accomplished.

As part of the repair, crane with lifting capacity of 40 tons, main engines, pumps, pipe systems were repaired as well as auxiliary engines were adjusted. Vessel generators, electrical equipment and control systems have been repaired.

Furthermore, necessary repair and renovation works were carried out in the mess room, toilet facilities, accommodation spaces and cabins to improve the living conditions of the crew.

The vessel was dry-docked, underwater and subsurface parts of the hull were cleaned and painted.  In addition, the thruster and propulsion system, bottom and side fixtures, and her protective equipment were repaired.

The vessel machinery and power equipment have been tested in running order upon testing the crane with a load lifting capacity of 40 tons. To this end, the sea craft was involved in sea trials.  Sea trials ended successfully, and the vessel was handed over to the disposal of seafarers.

All repair and overhaul works associated with the crane vessel "Atlet-24" were performed at the “Bibiheybat” ship repair yard with the involvement of employees of the shipyard and ship repair workshop of the Caspian Sea oil fleet.
