Purchase of New Sailboats for the ASCO’s “Khazar Sailing Club”
The potential of the “Khazar Sailing Club” of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC is enriched with 7 new Optimist class sailboats.
The boats manufactured by the Polish company “New Blue” comply with international standards. Sailboats of this type are used in international competitions and regattas.
Athletes of the “Khazar Sailing Club” tested new yachts. Four athletes competing in the Optimist class will participate in the “Federation Cup” of the Azerbaijan Sailing Federation on new sailboats.
It should be noted that the “Khazar Sailing Club”, established in 2014, operates within ASCO. Club athletes have repeatedly been winners of various local and international competitions. Now, 3 trainers of the club are training 12 athletes in the Laser class and 4 in the Optimist class.
