Necessary equipment for the new powerstation built in Mingachevir will be delivered from Turkey to Azerbaijan by the vessel "Uzeyir Hajibeyli"
General cargo vessel "Uzeyir Hajibeyli" of sea transportation fleet of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” (ASCO) CJSC, will deliver necessary equipment from Turkey to Azerbaijan for new power plant built according to Azerenergy OJSC order on the "Azerbaijan" Thermoelectric Power Station territory in Mingachevir.
According to order, transformer and auxiliary equipment with total weight of 1,303,765 tons were loaded onto the vessel in the port of Haydarpasa in Turkey. The vessel is already on its way.
It should be noted that gas turbines and generators manufactured by Italian company "Ansaldo Energia" for mentioned project were delivered to Azerbaijan last year by ASCO vessel.
