Crane vessel "Shirvan-3" overhaul completed

Overhaul of crane vessel "Shirvan-3" of Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), has been completed.

Repairs were carried out at the Bibi-Heybat shipyard.

Current repair works were carried out on a crane with lifting capacity of 100 tons.

The auxiliary engines were overhauled, and the main engines, pumps, piping systems and electric motors underwent routine repairs.

On the "Shirvan-3" vessel, damaged areas in the underwater and surface parts of the hull were replaced, painting work was carried out, the engine-steering complex, bottom fittings, and tread devices were also repaired.

After completion of the repairs, test work was carried out on a crane installation with a lifting capacity of 100 tons, which was successful.

After this, the ship was taken out for sea trials to test the mechanisms and electrical equipment in motion. After successfully completed sea trials, the vessel was handed over to the Register's classification representatives.
