By the initiative of ASCO, a tour was organized for 25 members of the association at Baku Shipyard, located in Garadagh district.

The ship modelers first walked the area, got acquainted with modern-day shipyard closely watching the construction process of ships built by the order of ASCO. The ship modelers were informed that two new generation tanks and two unique “Ro-Pax” ferry boats are under construction at the factory for ASCO. These ships, which are constructed pursuant to the schedule, will be handed over by the end of 2020.

The participants of the tour were trained by Niyazi Bayramov, a supply and installation engineer. Representative of the plant spoke about shipbuilding potential of Azerbaijan and answered questions from ship modelers. Also, the children watched the video reflecting the construction of the ship.
