The new rector of ADDA was introduced to the staff
Heydar Asadov, appointed by the order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated April 3, 2019 to the post of rector of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), was introduced to the staff of the academy.
The event started with the moment of silence in tribute to the memory the late rector of ADDA Chingiz Aliyev.
Further, ASCO Chairman Rauf Valiyev emphasized the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev for the development of maritime transport, including maritime education. He also spoke about the history of the Academy, its traditions achieved results in recent years. Congratulating Heydar Asadov, the Chairman wished him success in his new tenure and future efforts.
ASCO chairman indicated the high confidence given to Heydar Asadov as he held higher positions in various vital institutions and government structures of the country. Rauf Valiyev expressed his confidence that ADDA would continue to further strengthen its scientific potential through the rich experience of Heydar Asadov and improve the level of personnel training.
The new rector of the Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy Heydar Asadov expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the given confidence and said he would exert all his efforts to justify this confidence.
