Azerbaijan is represented in Europe’s largest transport exhibition for the first time

Azerbaijan participated at “Transport and Logistic” exhibition in Munich, Germany for the first time.

At the exhibition held at the Messe Munich Center, “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company” CJSC (ASCO), “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC and Baku International Sea Trade Port are representing our country in a single national stand. Representatives of three companies are providing information to exhibition participants about our country’s transit potential, railways, maritime transportation, capabilities of our ports, and such large infrastructure projects as International Transport Corridors and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway passing through our country. They are also negotiating and holding meetings for cooperation.

The exhibition, opened today, will last until June 7.

“Transport and Logistic” exhibition provides an opportunity to be acquainted with all processes of transportation and logistics. At the event, all participants from Germany and other parts of the world can also take part in a wide range of conference programs and exchange platforms for information exchange.

It should be mentioned that the exposition includes more than 10 pavilions and open areas of the exhibition center. About 2 500 participants from 62 countries have joined the exhibition, covering 115,000 m2 area. Among them are representatives of the world’s leading companies in the field of transport, logistics, transportation, and high technology.

More than 60,000 visitors from 123 countries are expected to visit the exhibition.

Taking place once in two years, “Transport and Logistic” exhibition outstands among other similar events. Munich exhibition is considered as the largest one in Europe and included in the world top 5.
