Sailors held tree planting campaign at Jojug-Marjanli on the occasion of the 96th birthday anniversary of the National Leader
A delegation from company management and staff members of the CJSC Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) organized a tree planting campaign in the village of Jojug Marjanli of Jabrayil district, on the occasion of the 96th birthday anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Staff of ASCO first visited the monument erected as a tribute to the memory of April martyrs and got to know the village mosque, Flag Square, the park “Gayidish” (“Return”), as well as other social facilities.
Later, delegates launched the tree planting campaign in the designated area. Sailors along with soldiers and officers of the N military unit have planted more than 100 plank trees.
Nazraddin Ahmedzadeh, Deputy Chairman of ASCO, who also participated in the tree- planting campaign, said that National Leader Heydar Aliyev has always attached special attention to the nature of Azerbaijan and prioritized its protection as one of the most important issues. He noted that the environmental policy of Heydar Aliyev, the founder and architect of independent Azerbaijan is successfully followed by President Ilham Aliyev.
He also added that the restoration of the environmental balance, the preservation of the natural environment and the enrichment of the atmosphere with oxygen are among the most important issues that the ASCO leadership takes into consideration. Such noble actions will be followed in the future.
